How to Use INCI Names on Labels
- List ingredients in descending order of concentration
- Ingredients at or below 1% may be listed in any order
- Use the exact INCI name from the international standard
- EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009 requires INCI labeling
- US FDA requires ingredients listed under 21 CFR 701.3
